Long Beach State women's basketball began its 2010-2011 campaign with an exhibition game against the Cal Poly Pomona Broncos. The team featured a roster of three seniors (Ashley Bookman, Courtney Jacob, and Melanie Lisnock) and seven freshmen. As of February 27, the 49ers are 8-20 overall, and 6-8 in BWC.
