Ruben Vazquez, a junior aerospace engineer at Cal Poly Pomona, had this to say about what the trustees could do instead of new fee hikes:

“A bill called the AB656 is an oil extraction tax which will tax oil companies and the revenue from that tax should fund higher education.”
